Tom Hanks and Audrey Tautou star in this great adaptation of the Dan Brown novel "The DaVinci Code", about a secret religious sect that has designs on keeping a dark secret hidden from the rest of the world. A murder at the Louvre brings in symbologist Robert Langdon(Hanks) to help interpret some of the evidence, but Langdon finds himself an unwillingly suspect and he escapes the clutches of the police. With the help of a French cryptologist Sophie Neveu(Tautou), the two of them begin a desperate search to find out why her grandfather was murdered and to clear Langdon's name.
The movie is just as suspenseful as the book, and they do a wonderful job of adapting it to the screen. Both stars doing terrific jobs here and the supporting cast is great. Especially, Paul Bettany who plays Silas. Ian McKellen, Jean Reno, and Alfred Molina have great roles here as well, so look forward to adding this to your Queue.
