Lies is really what this film is all about. Leonardo DeCaprio plays a CIA operative Roger Ferris, who is caught in between a caniving boss Ed Hoffman(Russell Crowe), and a list of bad guys in the Middle East. As usual, DiCaprio and Crowe do good jobs in their roles, but this movie was very difficult to get into at all. It moved back and forth, between the Middle East and the US and it was difficult to tell where it was going. This would be good if it was suspenseful, but it was more confusing than anything else. I'm sure it was an accurate portrayal of a CIA agent's job in that type of environment, where even the "good guys" are really "bad guys", but despite decent performances the film only that...decent. I would queue it, but don't expect great things and you won't be disappointed.
