Netflix Top 100 - 62. - Indiana Jones and the Temple of the Crystal Skull

Who appointed Shia LaBeouf as the next action star?  Not me, even though I liked him in "Disturbia" and the "Transformers" movies, he just kind of...annoying.  I think it's his fast talking, and his lack of range that is most disturbing.  He always seems to be playing himself in movies, and this just doesn't work in this film.  Unfortunately, nothing else plays well in the film either.

Like most of the films in this series, this one takes place in the past and surrounds the exploits of Dr. Henry Jones, the great archaeologist played well, as always, by Harrison Ford.   Unlike the other Indiana Jones movies, this one is not very good, but is passable.  The script should have been burned and then rewritten, but unfortunately it made it to the screen.  In this last installment of the series, Jones is fighting with the Russians (Cate Blanchett and a cast of characters) for a secret Crystal Skull which is deemed to have mythical powers.  This time Indiana has a sidekick, Mutt Williams(LaBeouf) who helps him to find the Skull and save the day.  I only wish they could have saved this movie.   Wait for this one on cable, or don't wait at all.
